Climate change is a global issue with impacts felt all over the world. In India, the state of Maharashtra is facing the impacts at a massive scale. The government, the public and especially youth have to work together to be climate conscious. So, thank you for joining the Maha Youth for Climate Action community and enrolling in this course. 

The course has 5 units. Two units are mandatory, and are presented together as Unit 1 and 2: 

• Climate Change 
• Water Management  

• Energy Management
• Waste Management
• Biodiversity Conservation

Once you successfully complete the mandatory units (offered together), you are eligible for a certificate. You can earn additional certificates with the elective units.

हवामान बदल (climate change) हा एक जागतिक प्रश्न आहे ज्याचे पडसाद सगळीकडे उमटत आहेत. भारतात, खास करून महाराष्ट्रात ह्याचे परिणाम मोठ्या प्रमाणावर दिसून येत आहेत. हवामानबदलाबद्दल सजगता आणि कृतीशीलता निर्माण करण्यासाठी सरकार, जनता आणि मुख्यतः तरुणांनी एकत्र येऊन काम करण्याची गरज आहे. तेव्हा, हवामान बदलासाठी महा युवा कम्युनिटीमध्ये सामील झाल्याबद्दल आणि ह्या कोर्समध्ये नावनोंदणी केल्याबद्दल मनापासून धन्यवाद! 

या कोर्सबद्दल

या कोर्समध्ये 5 युनिट आहेत. त्यातली पहिली दोन युनिट अनिवार्य आहेत, ती म्हणजे 

• हवामान बदल
• जलव्यवस्थापन 

या कोर्समध्ये तीन ऐच्छिक युनिट आहेत: 

• ऊर्जा व्यवस्थापन आणि हवामान बदल
• कचरा व्यवस्थापन आणि हवामान बदल
• जैवविविधता संरक्षण

तुम्ही दोन अनिवार्य युनिट पूर्ण केलेत की तुम्ही या कोर्सचे प्रशस्तीपत्रक मिळवू शकता. तुम्ही ऐच्छिक युनिट्ससह अतिरिक्त प्रमाणपत्रे मिळवू शकता.
